Marion & Meri Cain Name: Dan Larsen Date: 03/11/12 Message: Larry came and inspected two adjoining properties that I'm purchasing, and I couldn't have been happier with the level of service or the quality of the inspection and resulting reports. One property was a well-maintained 1974 building that was fairly open-shut in terms of inspection; the other was a poorly maintained (to put it lighty) 1925 building, which was not open-shut at all. Amongst the discoveries on the older property was a pot grow in the basement. A legal grow, with a medical license, but nonetheless was an interesting discovery during an inspection, and was releasing a lot of moisture into the house above. Luckily, it turned out Larry was somewhat of an expert on the issues involved in purchasing and inspecting houses that had been used for drug production (pot grows, meth labs, etc.) How many inspectors would have brought that knowledge to the table? I tailed Larry throughout the inspection, to learn in detail about the issues with the older house in particular, and he was more than happy to share his insights with me along the way in an open and very personable way.
